Soc Takes understands that Colombian footballer Sebastian Velasquez will be playing his football in America once again.

The 2012 MLS draft pick has previously played for Real Salt Lake and New York City FC in MLS, Real Monarchs in USL as well as Rayo OKC in the now-defunct NASL.

Most recently, Velasquez was playing in the K-League 2 for Korean side Suwon FC, where he made nine appearances in 2019. Velasquez seems to have stabilized his career after some off-field troubles.

El Paso Locomotive FC, under head coach Mark Lowry, are currently in fifth place in the Western Conference of the USL Championship.

Soc Takes reached out to the club for comment.
