WESTFIELD, Ind. — Sogility, a soccer-specific indoor training facility just north of Indianapolis, has announced plans to host two-v-two soccer tennis tournaments.

The first one will be held May 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s for players eight and older, including adults, and $50 per team to register. The open format will feature four co-ed divisions split by age: 8-10, 11-13, high school and adult.

The tournament will play out in round-robin style, with each team guaranteed a minimum of three matches.

“It’s something new — and different — from anything in the area,” said Jason Brown, who co-runs Sogility and Indy Saints FC along with owner Chris McGrath.

Additionally, Sogility plans to host future FIFA Women’s World Cup-themed and Concacaf Gold Cup-themed soccer tennis tournaments later this year to coincide with both events. The details on those tournaments will be announced at a future date, Brown said.

Interested teams can register here for the May 11 soccer tennis tourney. For more information, visit Sogility.net.

Bringing together four distinct elements in its training regimen, Sogility combines the use of TOCA Touch Trainers, IFAST’s soccer-specific sports performance services, Jon Busch’s High Performance Goalkeeping for goalkeeper training and Brad Ring‘s field-player expertise.

Both Busch and Ring are former MLS and Indy Eleven players. Busch announced his retirement at the end of Indy’s 2017 campaign, and Ring — the last remaining relic from Indy’s inaugural 2014 roster — followed suit a year later after playing one final season for the club in 2018.

Sogility is also the filming location and title sponsor of Soc Takes TV on the ISC Sports Network. The show can be found at ISCSportsNetwork.com as well as Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, Fire TV and through select Midwest cable providers.
