Harrisburg City Islanders to be sold and rebranded?

Recently, a website for “Penn FC” was posted to the USL subreddit, along with speculation that the Harrisburg City Islanders might become Penn FC for 2018.

If we dig a little deeper, the signs look a lot stronger.

For one, if you remove the “under construction” element, you get the following page:

Harrisburg City Islanders

Yes, it’s actually the City Islanders’ website. And you can even access this page discussing the stadium.

Furthermore, a WHOIS query for PennFC.com reveals that the domain is owned by Brad Gorham of Rush Soccer SPA, the group that operates the Colorado Rush in Littleton, Colo., as well as the Pennsylvania Rush in New Britain and Doylestown, Pa.

Nothing has been confirmed officially yet, but this evidence seems pretty damning.
