Week 10 MLS

2017 record: 16-17
Profit/loss: -53.16

I’m back this week with two plays for Wednesday evening’s MLS slate. The remainder of my plays for the games this weekend will be posted Friday.

Here are my early Week 10 MLS plays:

Toronto FC/Orlando City SC Under 3.0 -115
Risk 57.50 to win 50
Joe Public sees these clubs and thinks “Sebastian Giovinco and Cyle Larin score a lot, this’ll surely be a high-scoring match.” While the first part of that reductionist thought is absolutely true, let’s give the Lions and TFC defenses a little bit of credit. Both squads are currently top four in MLS in goals allowed. Orlando has only conceded five times in seven matches. Toronto, meanwhile, has surrendered seven goals in eight contests. Sure, there’s enough firepower on the pitch to potentially make this play a loser. But why not invest in what have quietly been two of the league’s stoutest defenses?

Sporting Kansas City/New York Red Bulls Under 2.5 +100
Risk 50 to win 50
